EXHIBITION OPENING
The fourth installment of ACE! Australian Comics Exhibition commenced on January 27th at Fangsuo Commune in Chengdu, China. The exhibition will be accessible to the public until February 29, 2024.
The opening event was honored by the presence of the Australian Consul-General in Chengdu, Adelle Neary.
EXHIBITION
In a specially designed exhibition space, we showcased artworks from 20 selected Australian comic artists. All comic pages were translated into Chinese. Furthermore, a dedicated wall highlighted Australian comic events, festivals, and initiatives. Attendees also had the opportunity to explore our country's geography through a large map of Australia.

As usual, an extraordinary oversized "postcard" was provided for capturing initial impressions and greetings for our Australian artists.
CASEY THE KOALA SCULPTURE
The latest edition of the show was accompanied by the ACE! mascot designed collaboratively by artist Ben Mitchell and curator Jakub Mazerant.
LOCATION - TAIKOO LI / FANGSUO COMMUNE
The exhibition was hosted at Fangsuo Commune, Chengdu's premier bookstore and cultural hub, situated in Taikoo Li, a mixed-use development located in the Jinjiang District of Chengdu.
COMIC MASTERCLASS
On the day of the exhibition launch, we conducted a special comic masterclass for a group of young art professionals and students at Fangsuo Commune.
KIDS WORKSHOP AT FANGSUO COMMUNE
On January 28th, we conducted a couple of workshops for local children. The initial session was held at Fangsuo Commune and drew the participation of nearly 30 young artists and their parents.
KIDS WORKSHOP AT FANGTING
The second workshop, which took place at FangTing Bookstore, also drew significant interest. We once more welcomed 30 children along with their families.
